hey there.

Im from england, but i want everyones opinion. I was thinking of doing a small A5 40 page tatoo fanzine and i had a few questions.

how well do tattoo fanzines go down. is there a point in doing it, or will it just get knocked back?
does anyone have any ideas for a name?

sorry for the x-posting.

little post, little tat
hey there, i am new...
i only have one little tattoo so far. i'm planning on getting a 1/2 or 3/4 sleeve but i'm in the midst of moving, blah blah. poor, blah blah. you know how it is.
it's really small and simple, but significant because my old girlfriend was murdered and i went to get it when they found her body. sort of as a memorial, i guess. and also just because the world is a terribly sad place.

hoping to get some of my other work done in the coming month..
oh yeah.. i went to anchor tattoo in seattle, tracy did it.
..now i'm all nervous, i'm gonna go..
keep posting fabulous pictures! oh how i love new school

Does anyone know any reputible artists in Florida (preferably south but don't hesitate to suggest orlando area, etc) that are good at replicating art (Dali, Escher, etc)? I really want a specific peice and if done wrong, it could look horrible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Question for the kids...
If you had a very original tattoo (maybe one you drew or one someone drew for you) would you be offended if someone saw it online or on you and they got the same thing or something very similar?
Just curious

While I was getting my nose peirced I met a guy that was getting a cover up tattoo. While technically this is nto about my own tattooing I figured I would ask anyway, has anyone covered up a tatto or does anyone want to cover one s/he already has?

p.s. nose peircing hurts a helluva lot more than eyebrows or tattoos (in my opinion). it bled a ton too. it was kind of yucky really.

Under My Skin
Today I went to 5-2 Tattoo in Ottawa, Canada for my first ever tattoo. My friend Jen came along to take pictures and tease me. Joel Conroy is the artist who came up with a design for me almost 8 months ago. As soon as I walked into the shop and talked to Joel I exclaimed "Crap! I forgot to go to the bank. I'll be right back." I was pretty nervous about getting inked and I was starting to strees out. Jen was nice enough to make jokes that made me even more nervous about getting inked. So we get back to the shop and Joel tells me he's setting up. So after a little while he says we can go on to the back. Craig Driscoll was tattooing Sucide Girl Noelle. Joel popped the stencil on me and had me check it in the mirror. So after positioning my arm he said he would try a small black line first so I could get used to the feeling. It was definitely not what I was expecting, I could barely feel the needle poking my skin. Collapse )
